Subject:Learn R with NDACAN!
Hello everyone, We are thrilled to announce a special Office Hour Series where you can learn to code in R with NDACAN! As you may have seen in our latest newsletter, the 2024-2025 Office Hours series will feature live 30-minute courses on teaching data users to code in the R programming software, followed by 30-minutes of open support time and breakout groups. Each 30-minute R course will feature instruction and live coding, include a handout covering the core concepts and codes of the lesson, and be accompanied by an assignment for participants to complete between sessions to practice the skills taught in the course. The dataset used in the course and for the assignments will be made available through the website for the purposes of the course. The workshops will be recorded and turned into a webinar series on the NDACAN website. The workshops will build on each other, and videos will be made available within one week of the workshop so that participants who miss a session can watch before the next live session. The course will be free and requires registration. See our website for more information!
