Dr. McLeod, a 2013 graduate of the school’s doctoral program and currently the director at the Anne and Henry Zarrow School of Social Work at the University of Oklahoma received the Ph.D. program's prestigious Making A Difference Award for his lifelong quest to reduce violence Dr. Vaughan-Eden, professor and the Ph.D. program director with the Ethelyn R. Strong School of Social Work at Norfolk State University, was named recipient of the Alumni Stars award , a biennial honor recognizing the achievements of VCU’s most notable alumni in their communities and industries.
