SUMMER RESEARCH INSTITUTE 2025 CALL FOR APPLICATIONS
NDACAN is holding its annual Summer Research Institute (SRI) on May 22, May 23, [May 26 no activity: Memorial Day], May 27, and May 28. The SRI is a free virtual workshop in which participants analyze NDACAN datasets over multiple days with close support and expertise provided by NDACAN staff as-needed. The SRI also provides participating child abuse and neglect researchers an opportunity for networking and collaborating with each other. The Application deadline is March 1, 2025. Please visit our Summer Research Institute 2025 Announcement page for information and application instructions.

LeaRn With NDACAN
Special Office Hours Series 2024-2025
The 2024-2025 Office Hours series features live 30-minute courses on teaching data users to code in the R programming software, followed by 30-minutes of open support time and breakout groups. Each 30-minute R course features instruction and live coding, includes a handout covering the core concepts and codes of the lesson, and is accompanied by an assignment for participants to complete between sessions to practice the skills taught in the course. The sample dataset used in the course and for the assignments is available at the course files link below. The workshops are being recorded and turned into a webinar series on the NDACAN website. The workshops build on each other, and videos of the course are made available within one week of the workshop so that participants who miss a session can watch before the next live session. The course is free and requires advanced registration. We hope that you'll join us for this special Office Hours series and LeaRn to code R with NDACAN!
